Description

xxxxxCluttered and disorganized, the shelves of this pawn shop are a potpourri of the city's detritus. Tools and cheap jewelry, instruments and electronics in questionable states of repair; the wide assortment of weaponry as well as anything of real value, though, is kept locked up behind the counters or in the back room. The small shop's shelves always seem to be far more crowded than its aisles, leaving it somewhat a mystery how it stays in business, though its cheerfully friendly owner has been a familiar face in the neighborhood since pretty much forever.

Employees
  • Chris Torriani - Owner. Stocky and grey-haired and perpetually stubbled. Looks grizzled and tough but is kind of perpetually warm and friendly to everyone who comes in. The kind of person who remembers the names of everyone he does business with as well as asking after their kids/grandmother/dog/life as appropriate for whatever they have talked about last time they were in his shop.
  • Note any other PCs or particularly relevant NPCs who work here!

Notes & Trivia
  • Keeps a stock of dog treats behind his counter for anyone who comes in with a pup.
  • Keeps a jar of candy, too. Separate for the treats. That's for kids who come in.
  • Has deep roots in the neighborhood and a list of contacts a mile long. The shop is quietly well-known in certain circles as a good place to unload merchandise you may have come by in sketchy ways.
  • Though he's never any less outwardly friendly to obvious mutants than he is to anyone else who comes in his doors, Mr. Torriani will quietly and consistently undervalue the goods they bring him.
