He sings there weekly; the actual churchgoers tend to be predominantly black and predominantly warm and welcoming. Pick-Up - Can be often found around parks engaging in casual ball-games -- basketball's his favorite but he's often up for a lot of things! Fly, Fight, Win - Just recently home from serving abroad in the Air Force, now he works down at the VA helping other vets reintegrate into civilian life. Anyone with a military background might have reason to run into him there. Guardian Angel - His military background was in pararescue; he's a trained paramedic and adept at rescue and might be Very Handy in those crises that New York seems oh-so prone to. Birdbrained - He volunteers with a wildlife rescue just outside the city -- specifically, with their birds of prey rehabilitation. Community-Minded - Actually, he volunteers a lot. Got a charity project or pet cause or group? Soup kitchen? Shelter? Clinic? There's a non-zero chance he might find his way into helping out some weekend.
