A lean Black woman approaching middle age, the bright colors she often wears favor the deep rich brown of her skin. Her hairstyles fluctuate frequently -- sometimes elaborately braided or twisted, sometimes a neatly pulled back fountain of thick red-tinged curls, sometimes silk-pressed into a glossy straight sheen. She has wide features on an oval face -- deep brown eyes, broad nose, an enormous and very ready smile.

A tenacious defense attorney who has been responsible for some acquittals in a couple pretty high profile cases, at least one of which was fairly controversial given that the young actor she was defending fairly unquestioningly did commit the assault he was accused of. Has since left the courtroom to co-found a crisis management firm in New York City, cleaning up after the messes of the rich and powerful. Is ''very'' good at what she does.
