- Actually, these /are/ the greatest pancakes. The chef who works the graveyard here is oblivious to his particular mutation; the ability to create the perfect pancakes. Specifically, he's got mutant tastebuds that help make him crazy-good at cooking.
- The owner's son is a mutant; she herself is pretty pro-mutant, but tries not to be very loud about it (out of fear of driving away customers). She has been known to sometimes leave perfectly good food next to the dumpster late at night (and leave the dumpster doors unlocked) - but only when the dumpster-divers refrain from making a mess.
