Stranded
- Heidi arrived in Aleswich in mid-June, 2013, on business, escorting a shipment and to ensure that it arrived safely. After all Hell broke loose, she found herself stranded in small town Maine surrounded by monsters that want to scuff her shoes.
Black Market Flesh Trade
- There is a surprising market for the highly illegal here. It surpsied Heidi at least. But it brought her here. She held a brief name in arms dealing along with her late husband, but transitioned out of that to human trafficking with the occasional diversion into antiquities as the whim strikes.

xxxxxThe gift that Mama Nomzoma gave Heidi is a rabbit fur pouch decorated with beadwork, feathers, and carved bone. It is filled with the bones, coins, bells, teeth, and other assorted baubles to throw and divine the wishes of the dead. It hangs on Heidi's hip, always, but is usually unmanifested in Twilight.

He looks as though he should be a freshman in college, but he's been groomed to a professional gleam and carries himself with the confidence of an accomplished businessman decades his senior.
