"No. Nobody in real life says 'kiss my grits'."

xxxxxBorn the oldest child to a family of two parents, six children, and one steady job, Molly grew up in a small house in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Pigeon Forge is a tourist town, and not a particularly fancy one; her mother was the primary breadwinner of the family while her father worked as a handyman between seasonal stints at Dollywood and occasional jobs for the various hotels and motels up and down the strip. Money only became dearer as more siblings were born. Her maternal grandmother did most of the child-minding while her parents worked, and Molly followed 'Mamaw' around like a shadow, listening to stories about her childhood deep in the mountains before Dolly Parton brought prosperity to Sevier County.

xxxxxThough around the age of fourteen she began to notice her physical strength beginning to rapidly increase, Molly was really too busy to think about it. She took her first official job at her mother's restaurant when she was barely sixteen, working after school and on weekends to help supplement her family's small income. Though her strength continued to increase, she merely thought of it as the result of all her hard work - after all, her mutation set in very gradually: she was blessed with a distinct lack of traumatic and dangerous 'power erruptions'. As her siblings also grew up and started contributing, her family finally felt an ease to the crushing grip of poverty. Molly never really had a lot of free time to experience 'growing up' in all its supposed glory - she graduated high school having never been on a date. College didn't interest her, and at twenty-one she decided that she wanted to go and see more of the country, having rarely left the county of her birth.

xxxxxAfter packing a suitcase, making sure her parents and little siblings would be fine without her, Molly took off in her little beater car and started wandering the highways. Whenever funds got low, she could usually find temporary employment in a small town. At twenty-four, she came to New York City 'just to see it' and experienced the crush of humanity. The energy of a huge city was something she'd never fully realized before. She lived in her car for a few days until she could find a job, paying to shower and wash her clothes in hostels before she could land a job.

xxxxxAfter a month's worth of penny-pinching and all the shifts she could get, she had saved enough money to move into a small basement apartment. The walls sweated occasionally, and the plumbing made weird noises, but it was nothing she was really unused to. The mild summers agreed with her, and the winters weren't so cold that she couldn't stand them. At twenty-five, Molly moved to a better (still small) apartment. Her only real hobby outside of work is trying to cultivate a 'perfect' home, so she's constantly moving furniture or rearranging her possessions to suit her whims.

xxxxxEven though by now she can lift a refrigerator by herself, Molly doesn't really consider herself a mutant. She's just a really strong person, which is handy when it's time to move a couch or dresser.

Powers

xxxxxIncreased Strength, Increased Durability.

xxxxxSimply put, Molly is just a little bit stronger and tougher than the average woman of her age and build. She has the ability to deadlift somewhere around 400 pounds at full effort, and can withstand physical abuse as if she were wearing football gear. With training and dedication, a normal human could match or surpass her abilities.
