Everybody's playing the game, but nobody's rules are the same; nobody's on nobody's side.
Introduction

xxxxxSpokesperson for Themis House, a not-for-profit mutant outreach organization aimed at helping mutants overcome their genetic predisposition and achieve normalcy in their lives.

History

xxxxxNeve Leone is the only daughter of prominent D.C. psychiatrist, Dr. Edward Leone. The early death of Edward's wife, and Neve's mother, left the two with a close bond that survived even through the manifestation of Neve's mutation. There are countless character witnesses who would testify to knowing Neve while she was growing up, to the fact that she was a gentle and studious girl whose manifestation of mutant abilities was a source of horror for friends, family and neighbors. Just as many would testify to Dr. Leones tireless efforts to find a treatment and therapy that would cure his daughter.

xxxxxFortunately for Neve, he succeeded.

xxxxxNow Neve has come public with a newly published autobiography and self-help book, “Mirror, Mirror: Finding my True Reflection”. It is meant for mutants and their families, those who are struggling with their identities in today's world. She is also the spokesperson for Themis House, an organization dedicated to providing counselling, mutation suppression therapy and even grants for plastic surgery for those who wish to improve themselves and re-enter society as normal people.

xxxxxShe believes in this mission. She believes that there are people out there, mutants out there, that want and need to be helped to a normal life.

Powers

xxxxxSuppressed! Publicly listed as night vision and photosensitivity/visible expression of X gene (amphibian characteristics).

Skills

xxxxxNeve has proven herself to be quite the public speaker in spite of being a soft-spoken and gentle sort of person. Judging by her recently published autobiography, she's an excellent writer as well!

xxxxxGardening is another passion. She's recently begun to cultivate orchids.

xxxxxLike many New Yorkers (and D.C.ites) she cannot drive. Themis House provides a driver but she prefers public transit and has purchased a bicycle as well, much to the dismay of her minders since she never learned how to ride one as a child. She has all of the wobblies.

Connections

Minders

And everything in between

  • Coming soon.
Trivia
  • She has admitted in interviews that her biggest flaw is an addiction to shopping. Clothes, especially.
  • Themis House opened in Atlanta several months ago. Neve has recently arrived in New York to open another chapter within the city. To that end, she's begun to do the publicity circuit and is appearing on local news and talk shows to discuss the House's mission and her own experiences.

Themis House - Are you a mutant who doesn't want to be a mutant? Maybe they can help. Or maybe you disagree with their mission...
Published Author - Book signings, casual interviews set in public venues, in-studio interviews broadcast on TV...
Seems familiar... - But really, she's just been on the TV a lot lately.
