Routed as it was through a series of foreign proxies, we picked it up on a routine search for subjects relating to mutant terrorism. Due to the sensitive nature of its contents, I thought it best to forward it to you for advice on what to do with it. The recipient has been contacted and is awaiting advisement. Dear Captain Rogers, I told this to one of your soldiers, but I don't know if it filtered back to you -- with all the villain theatrics you put on I have no confidence that your soldiers feel safe relaying an admonition from an enemy combatant. So I figured I ought to tell you myself. Malthus, I am very disappointed in you. Using the Bloodspider to fight us was risky and irresponsible and I expected better of you. As I'm sure you know, it is as dangerous as it is difficult to contain -- when Prometheus tried to use it as a guard dog it escaped into New York City and started eating children. What if it had driven us off? I saw nothing in that convoy capable of subduing it. You would have had set a ravenous bloodspider loose on your soldiers and subsequently on Route 83. We left it buried under a Stryker and a couple tons of rock, but I trust you will exercise due haste and due caution when retrieving it. If I hear about a string of mysterious vampiric murders in rural Virginia, I will be very unhappy.
