Tristan James Kitsch was born in the small city of Danbury, Connecticut. As the only son to Jessica Jones, the owner of the Scott Hill Inn Bed and Breakfast. One of the largest inns in the village located away from the hustle and bussel of Main Street and the main beach. The Scott Hill Inn, has it's own private beach and pool and has been owned by Jessica for over twenty years. Everyone knows Jessica, and her boy Tristan. Like every small town, the rumor about Jessica was she got the Inn as a settlement in her divorce from her previous husband because he was caught cheating on her. That wasn't to far from the truth in fact Jessica was the mistress for a very rich man; Tristan's father; who bought her the Inn way up in Connecticut to get her out of his life while supporting her and his son in secret for the rest of his days.

Tristan | {{Tab}}As a boy Tristan was a skinny, big headed, geek who tended to spend his time alone because he was not allowed to talk to the guests, and there were no children who lived on his road. It was a bunch of other bed and breakfast inns. Jessica loved her son, and made sure he got everything he ever wanted. The entire attic of the house was his play den which he loved as a boy. However, it secluded him and made it very awkward for him on his first day of school when he was 5 years old. Tristan went to school on his first day and got made fun of because of the way he talked. Tristan had a very high pitched voice even for a boy which like any kid gave them fire power to single him out. Now, Hop Brook School was one of the two schools in Danbury. In a small city had a 1st-8th and then they had their small high school which had 9th-12th. When you are marked for a stereotype, your marked for life in that town. Tristan was marked as a loser geek who would be the butt of all jokes for the jocks.
{{Tab}}Tristan did not like going to school and did not like being picked on by the other kids. His few years in school was very hard on Jessica having to meet with the other teachers trying to come up with a plan for him. However, that began to change the summer just before Tristan was suppose to go into the 4th grade. A pair of gay men had bought one of the large victorian houses on the corner of his street. These men had two sons, one the same age as Tristan and another a year old. The sons name were Scott and Brandon. Scott was a shy kid, and Brandon protected him. When the boys met Tristan, Brandon felt he had to protect Tristan as well. You see they came from New York City. A city where if you don't get some "street cred" your nothing. This was the reason they moved to Connecticut, Brandon was getting into to many fights in school with the other boys. This was the answer to Tristan's prayers: his own personal body guard.
{{Tab}}Scott, Brandon, and Tristan soon became known as the Three Muskateers. They were never apart, while Tristan knew the area, the brothers became his closest friends. They spent the entire summer getting to know one another, and when school came around they all watched out for each other. Brandon was one of the biggest boys in school that year and he protected his friends. They soon went from three to five becoming Brandon, Scott,Mark, Becca and Tristan. This group were as close knit as they come helping each other out when any of them needed it. Brandon had become the "leader" of the group soon becoming Mister Popular. Scott was the sensitive onehe loved to draw. Mark was the smart one. Becca was the talented one. While Tristan started to play sports. Brandon encouraged him to join the Junior football team with him. Life for Tristan was turning into the normal all American boy. That changed in the summer of his 11th birthday. While riding his bike on his road, Scott was walking towards him in the distance. A driver lost control of his car and hit Scott head on and killed him right before Tristan's eyes.Tristan was devasted! The town had accidents before yet nothing of his nature. After the wake, Tristan went down to the beach and sit when Brandon had found him. Brandon made an oath to Tristan that he would allow nothing to happen to him. He was his brother now, and he was going to protect him. Tristan felt the same way for his "brother". This is how the boys coped with the loss of Scott. The next school year was hard for the group of friends. Becca moved away to New York, while Mark went to a private school. Brandon and Tristan soon became best friends. They began playing football again, and hanging out with other people. Life slowly began to get back to normal for Tristan.
{{Tab}}When Tristan was 12, Brandon had gone into his first year at the high school. This left Tristan in the 8th grade all by himself. This was a weird year for him because this was the year he hit puberty. While in the Spring of his 8th grade year his body started going through the normal changes a teenager goes through in this stage of his life. His face broke out, his voice changed and he grew hair in places he did not know before. This also meant he started getting feelings he had not had before and his interests started to change while he was discovering himself. Tristan was still playing football after school and becoming quite good at it. However, he started playing the guitar at home and singing. He starting liking music by Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Jamie Cullen, and more. This was not the typical music his friends were listening too. He decided to keep his love of music a secret because he did not want to be made fun of when he started his freshman year in high school.
{{Tab}}Ah High School, that rocky bridge we all must cross into before the trails of adulthood. High School for Tristan was a rollercoaster. His freshman year was not as hard as he expected because he had Brandon. Brandon was playing on the football team and was making friends of his own. He was happy to have his brother back in the same school. Tristan had decided to try out for the football team. He got in with no issues, and even got to play a few times in his freshman year. The coach had said he was a little skinny still to play on the line but he had potential. No one really messed with Tristan because he was on the football team and the school LOVED their team like they were gods. It was not until the next year life for Tristan would really change.
{{Tab}}When Tristan was 14 years old, he lost his mother. The doctors said she had passed away in her sleep from a heart attack. This shattered the boy into pieces and he felt lost and hopelessand in many ways he was going to be until Brandon. Brandon had spoken to his fathers and asked Tristan if he wanted to come live with him and his fathers. Tristan did not want to leave his home town and decided that was the only thing he could do. It was hard at first getting use to the idea of having two adults in his life much less two fathers. Brandon's fathers were loving, caring, and understanding of the changes and gave Tristan all the time he needed to adjust. For legal purposes, Brandon's father's adopted Tristan. It was the hardest year of his life, and for a short while Tristan went on anti-depressants. However, a secret was revealed about the boy at his mother's funeral. Tristan broke out his guitar and sung for his mother. He was rather good by any standards, and brought tears to the majority of the town's eyes. No one made fun of him for his singing voice or his ability to play from that point on.
As his life began to slowly get back to normal, his mother's bed and breakfast was sold for over 250,000 dollars. This money was placed in a college fund for Tristan to have access too when he was 19 and had chosen a college. At the age of 15, Tristan got a job working as a junior lifeguard down at the main beach in the center of town. He liked being outdoors and staying active. When the beach had closed, he was playing football with Brandon and his other friends. He also joined the school jazz choir getting a number of solos for his ability to sing and play the guitar. He was starting to turn into a normal boy. That was quickly going to change at the beginning of his junior year in high school.
{{Tab}}2013a very rough year for Tristan. In July of 2013, Tristan was walking home with Brandon from a game. The pair were talking about their class rings. Tristan had gotten a titanium ring and could not stop playing with it when suddenly a car had come around the corner out of control. A drunk driver pummeled right for boys when Tristan threw himself in front of Brandon. He was not thinking when his body went hard, and Brandon was thrown to the side while the car wrapped itself around a telephone pole and Tristan. Brandon was in shock, and the driver could not help but stare at Tristan wrapped against the pole. He had surived the brunt of the impact. Tristan pushed the car away from him and he leaped into the back yard of his house and landed 100 feet away from the two who stared in awe. He slumped down and could not stop staring at his hands. Brandon had found Tristan who made him swear not to tell anyone. Brandon swore he would keep it a secret, and when the drunk driver tried to reveal what had happened to the police. The boys said he was lying.
{{Tab}}That accident started a snowball effect to his body. He became faster, stronger, his senses began to change, his behavior began to change. It was starting to become very difficult for Tristan gained 30lbs of muscle, and he grew 6 inches and had 6 percent body fat. He was starting to get into fights, became playful at times, or possessive about his things. Tristan quit the football, and started to hide from others. This is when he learned about the Brotherhood of Mutants. Tristan knew he was a mutant and he felt like he needed a place to belong. Tristan left Connecticut, and decided seek them out. He went to New York City, in hopes to find them. Tristan spent the next week on the streets of New York leaping from roof top to roof top. Just as he was about to give up, he came upon a young boy being beat up by 3 other older boys. Tristan began to have a flash back of losing his "brothers" and before thinking he stopped these boys without thinking. The young boy's name was Lloyd. A mutant with the ability to control air. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants. This began their friendship.
{{Tab}}Lloyd brought Tristan to the island, where he got to meet Regan. The woman had a certain charm about her, yet the smell about her seemed.wrong. Tristan loved living on the isle with other mutants. It was the one place he did not feel like he had to hide who he was from the world. His mutant powers made him a unique asset for a lot of the missions. Tristan took the codename: Lynx. Tristan didn't complain about the missions, yet he didn't always like them. He often didn't like fighting other mutants, especially the X-Men. As their cause seemed to be getting into the thick of it, Tristan couldn't do it anymore. At the age of 17, Tristan fled the isle. He didn't know where to go, and decided to find the X-men. He had gotten a few of their scents, and was able to track them back to the mansion. Will they accept him or destroy him?
