xxxxxEdward Leone is executive director of Themis House, an organization created to provide a place where mutants who do not wish to be mutants receive a number of services. Themis House is his brainchild, a project several years in the making but only recently opened to the public. Previous to establishing the House, he was a psychiatrist with a large independent practice in Washington, D.C. He is a widower and has one daughter, Neve.

xxxxxDr. Leone is a tall and thickly built man, running towards fat in the belly region now that he's entered early old age. With snowy hair, a neatly trimmed beard and bright, ceaselessly twinkling blue eyes, he's a sure pick to play Santa Claus at the office Christmas party every year.

xxxxxBluff and hearty, capable of icy judgment or radiating warmth, Dr. Leone is a man who grew to adulthood in a very different America than the one that exists today. A lifetime of service to the powerful and hoping-to-be-powerful in Washington, D.C. has left him jaded in regards to the capacity of man to be genuinely /good/--a viewpoint that was cemented with the death of his wife--but still he does his best to encourage what he sees as the potential for good in his charges. He is fiercely protective of those he's taken under his wing and genuinely believes in Themis House, and its potential for positive changes in clients' lives.
