(After all these months and months -- and months -- by now, certainly, Flicker is used to the constantly shifting tides of their mind. One more presence among the thousands should barely be noticeable.

And maybe it isn't. Who's to say, really. Outside, everything is chaos. Laughter and yelling and through the flurry of flying snow he's been a blur, everywhere at once and for all the storm of snow in the air /his/ jacket has surprisingly little powder dusted on it.

And in the chaos, barely noticeable probably characterizes it pretty well, really. The brief twitch that pulls him down out of the air. Green eyes locking on the fort with a slight widening. Faint sucked-in pull of icy air (in tandem, really, with a flash of memory, as if he could breath /for/ the other --)

-- And in this chaos a moment is all it takes. One solid thwap, and there's cold ice exploding against the back of his head, snow sliding down the back of his neck -- and, blink -- out of the snow and back into the fray, scarred face melting easily back into a smile. They're still there, after all. And there's work to be done. )
