  • Though emergency rooms are supposed to take anyone, emergency care workers are not required to treat people while there is an active present danger to themselves: Mount Sinai FREQUENTLY uses this as an excuse to bar treatment for any known or obvious mutants (after all, they can't know what they might be capable of, right?)
