xxxxxBorn in Prague, Czech Republic, Charles Kolar had wanted to live up to his father’s name of being a world famous hockey player. As his dad would be promoted from leagues in his home country to the big leagues in the West, Chucky would begin to follow in his father’s footsteps, moving to Canada with his father as his father was signed to the Ottawa Senators of the NHL.
Chucky would then begin to start actually playing hockey around his middle school years in Canada, getting better to the point where in high school he was a starter on the Varsity team as a freshman. It was during this time that Chucky would earn the nickname “Bavlník”, which is Czech for “Cottonmouth” after getting involved in a fight where his tooth was knocked out and he had to play the rest of the game with a cotton ball attached to where his missing tooth was in order to soak up any blood and prevent his mouth from bleeding. It was also during this time that Chucky began to develop his personality of being a bit of a hot headed individual, often resorting to the breakout of many hockey fights during his later high school career.
During his senior year of high school, Chucky witnessed a brutal mugging of a lady around his age. The lady was severely beaten and Chucky just watched as a bystander. Since that day, Chucky made a commitment to become some sort of “anti-robber” vigilante, often patrolling convenience stores and banks late at night in a hockey jersey, a goalie mask, and roller skates, and pulling a gun on anybody that causes any trouble.
This year, Chucky applied for the NHL Draft, trying to follow in his father’s footsteps. He was not seen as top talent but was certainly going to be drafted. He ended up being drafted 5th round to the New York Islanders. Since then, he has moved there and is trying to balance his life as a professional athlete and his vigilante work, making sure no one knows the true identity of “The Wheeler”.
