Three guys in the locker room talking about totally normal fun. Maybe.

Location

<XS> Gymnasium - B1

For a mutant school, this is a pretty standard gym, even if its sturdy construction to handle mutant powers is less standard. Still, it is designed along normal lines; setup for a basketball court, standard equipment -- punching bags, rubber mats, standard assortment of balls, weight training equipment, the usual fare. It is large, and as well-appointed as the rest of Xavier's tends to be.

Jack can be found down in the gym this evening. Or at least one could reasonably assume its Jack. Not many other students are just a pair of floating sneakers and workout shorts laying on a weight bench while some heavy weights lift themselves up and down in the air. Jack's currently working at the bench press, quietly counting reps. He's got a t-shirt and a towel nearby for when he's done but for now...spooky weight lifting.

In contrast, Shane isn't nearly so identifiable -- except, perhaps, in stature, diminutive in height and slender in build. At the moment /he/ is in full fencing gear, which leaves not very /much/ of him exposed, stark white from tip to toes save for the black mask over his face. He has been down at one end of the gym practicing with a small blonde girl who is just getting out of her suit now, but is moving down to the bleachers to retrieve his gym bag and water from where it has been left. He stops, masked face tipping to the side to watch the weights. "It's hard to tell like that," his voice comes from behind the mask, the tip of his fencing foil gesturing towards the weights, "if you're lifting with arms or TK."

Ducking beneath the door so he won't hit his head as he enters the gym is the brutish looking Treak, wearing a pair of torn shorts and a dirty shirt with the sleeves ripped off. He looks around as if making sure this was the right place. After nodding to himself he makes his way over to a large punching bag, glancing over to where Jack was and squinting as if trying to figure something out. Shane and the blonde girl also catch his attention and he can't help but chuckle as he see's their gear. Being the least equipped he begins to punch the sand filled punch bag.

Jack perks up a little, stopping mid-lift. He gives a little laugh as he resumes. "It's my arms when it weighs this much," he replies with an unseen smile. "I don't think I'd want to be under the weights if I was using my TK," he admits sheepishly. When a big, hulking figure makes his way into the gym, Jack pauses again. He carefully places the weight on the rack and sits up, looking Treak's way curiously.

"Looks pretty neat either way." Shane shrugs, setting the foil down on the bench and turning aside. "... how much /can/ you lift with TK? Like compared to... not... TK?" His back is to the door when Treak enters; there's a sniff-sniff-sniffing from inside the mask and he removes it to sniff again before actually turning around, flat blue nose flaring as his enormous solidly-black eyes open just a bit wider. His head tilts slightly to the side, the hairless ridge of his brows lifting. "... New kid?" He starts stripping out of his suit slowly, plain black tank top and black athletic shorts underneath it.

Treak now stares at Shane big black eyes his brows lifting back in response as if he was a mirror, seeming curiouse now. But none the less for a big guy he is at least for now quiet "Just... got here today" he says slowly as if trying to determine what to think. The bag he is punching, despite how heavy it must be seem to move easly as he punches. Looking to Jack more or less and then Shane he asks "Que Tk?"

"Well," Jack reaches down to grab his towel, wiping his face. "I flipped a car once. I just got really worn out by it," he answers Shane. "I passed out after it," Jack adds, picking up his shirt. Just a plain blue t-shirt with a wave design on it. "I don't know if I can lift more than that," Jack goes on while he pulls the shirt on, just so its easier for people to talk to him. His attention returns to Treak and Jack lifts a hand to wave, his sleeve lifting slightly with the movement. "Welcome to the school then," he offers. "TK is telekinesis." "I might pass out if I tried lifting a car, too," Shane says with a bright grin (that shows a very wide mouthful of very sharp shark-like teeth.) "'least on an empty stomach. -- Were you mad at the car? Did it insult you?" He's starting to fold his fencing things, tucking them back into his gym bag. He picks up his water bottle -- not actually drinking it yet, but splashing some of the water on the set of slitted gills that line the sides of his neck. "Today? /Really/ new New Kid, then. S'your name? TK is -- that." His chin jerks towards Jack when Jack answers the question.

"Treak and err gracias" the brutish mutant says. He stops punching and steadies the punching bag turning to Jack and Shane "Why would you lift a car? It's far easier to break in and take the stuff. No?" Either he is not the sharpest tool in the shed, or he is quite blunt. Regardless he goes on to ask "Errrr So what tu names?" His thick tail thumps the ground heavily regarding the two

Jack rubs the back of his neck, slouching in a slightly embarrassed manner. "I was trying to scare off jerks that were giving me a hard time so...car flip. It worked at least," he admits. Unseen brows arch at Treak's question and Jack shrugs. "Probably," he murmurs. "I'm Jack." "Way better of a reason than stealing," Shane decides with a small dip of his head. "But probably inefficient in terms of expending energy. I mean, there's a /lotta/ fucking assholes in the world, right? You'd give yourself an aneurysm if you had to chuck cars around at /all/ of them. -- {I'm Shane. I don't actually go to school here. Not anymore, anyway.}" He switches easily into Spanish for this last segment.

{Ohhh. So you.... live here? I thought only folks who were getting schooled went here} Treak response back seeming quite comfortable speaking his native tongue. "Nice to meet you Shane and Jack." pondering a moment he also says "Hope you don't end up like the last Jack and Shane I knew" he says more to himself then them. He shakes himself off much like a dog "So what folks do round here for fun?" but then he gets a different idea in his head and looks more to Jack "Think you could life me amigos?"

Jack laughs a bit, shaking his head. "It was back when I first ended up out there. I was scared and just...y'know. Lashed out," he admits. Standing up, the invisible teen stretches and hums a little at the switch in language. {That depends. How much do you think you weigh?} he asks, switching to Spanish as well.

"{Is this the part where I'm supposed to ask you what happened to the last Jack and Shane you knew?}" Shane's brows have lifted higher, his grin returning, bright and amused. "{I don't have pupils you can see, so I know it's hard to see my eyes rolling.}" He lifts his water bottle again, this time taking an actual swig. "Nah, I don't live here. {I just graduated last month. I live in the city.} And nobody has fun around here. {Just serious business, all day every day. Fun's against the rules.}" There's not much discernible change in the ease of his speaking between English and Spanish, casual-glib in either tongue.

{"That completly up to you"} is Treak somewhat sarcastic reply to Shane "And fun's not allowed? Joy, welp guess I'll be breaking all the rules then}" says chuckling. He then looks to Jack "I don't know, mabey errr {400 or so?}" he says rubbing the back of his head. Now he was slightly red at revealing his weight, because let face it, that is heavy compatred to most folks.

{We have lots of ways to have fun. This place, the pool, the lounge, the library...} Jack trails off, sleeve moving a bit as he makes some invisible gesture. He considers a few moments, looking Treak over. "I could...probably lift you. Just not for very long."

"Most of the ways I liked to have fun here just graduated," Shane muses with a small curl of grin. "But just so you know, both the med bay and the art room keep safer sex supplies in stock for when you're in a mood for -- fun." He hefts his gym bag up onto a shoulder, plucking up his foil to hold the weapon lazily at his side. "S'perfectly good weights sitting /right/ there, man."

Treak grins widly "{Give it a try, always wanted to see what it's like to fly a different way.}" he urges Jack his eyes glowing a dull red in anticipation. he then looks to Shane with a raised eye "{I rather have fun the normal way. Course I ain't to sure how that would work out. Never been this big before}" He admits rubbing the back of his head "{Anyways, I got to say, all those ally ways and roof tops in New York look like the place to have some real fun. Where are the slums down there?}"

"Alright, I guess I can float you a little bit," Jack remarks, stretching. He starts to say something else but then Shane mentions his way of having fun. Jack sputters a little and blushes furiously, not that anyone can see it. "That's...that's good to know..." he trails off, rubbing the back of his neck. Jack is filing away that information for if he ever needs it. Of course he'll be embarrassed as heck to ask or look for those supplies. Clearing his throat, Jack concentrates. "Just uh...hold still," he offers, concentrating on his TK. Unless Treak moves, he'll find himself slowly levitating a few inches off the ground as Jack holds an unseen hand towards him.

"{The -- normal way? Are you saying sex isn't normal?}" Shane's brows have lifted again. "{How do you imagine nearly every single person alive on earth /got/ here?}" His head shakes slightly, and he backs away a few steps as Jack starts to levitate Treak. "{... where... are the slum? I mean, it's New York. There's a lot of...} I'm not really sure what it is you're looking for." His fingers rub briefly at the side of his neck, pressing in at the gills there. "{The zombies kind of wrecked a lot of shit but some of it's been rebuilt. I dunno what that has to do with rooftops though.}" With a shrug, he turns to head for the door. "{Have fun with your -- totally normal flying, anyway.}"

"Yes, normal, you know, none of that protection crap. Just me, her and the bed" Treak says bluntly. He blinks as he is levitated and looks down. Even with his full beard one could see a wide smile on his face "Okay, that is {awesome!}" He exclaims. He tries to do the moon walk in mid air, now goofing off, not really know what Jacks limitations are. "As for Zombies....sounds like the right place to go" he says casually

Jack keeps the levitation going for a few moments but the moonwalking gets him letting out a little grunt. He ends up dropping Treak. Good thing it was only a few inches. "Okay...that's something I need to work on..." he trails off, rubbing his forehead. {Sorry,} he adds. "Think I'm gonna hit the showers," he says, scooping his towel up and heading for the locker room.

Treak nods and grins seeming to have landed without a hitch "Don't burn yourself" and with that he turns back to the punching bag and begins to punch it, making it move with ease it seems. His workout was just beginning.

"Ohhhhshit," Shane has paused to spin around on a heel, eyes faintly wider again at this response, "{wait so when you said /normal/ you meant /fucking irresponsible, my bad, I misunderstood.} Thank fucking God sex ed is mandatory here." The next shake of his head is just disgusted, before he turns back around. "{And you're a fucking idiot if you want to seek /out/ zombies. Just thank the gods you didn't /have/ to live through that here.}" The glib tone is gone from his voice now, leaving it just gruff and low as he leaves.

Treak keeps punching. If Shane's had an impact, it wasn't easy to see as he says "{Pretty}" he says with a chuckle in his tone. "Oh I don't want the zombies, just want to explore the destroyed areas. See if there is anything good to scavenge or anything like that. Of course from one moron to a bigger moron" indicating Shane "You might try figureing out what fun is". And he wasn't whispering making sure the departing fish man heard him.
