<XS> Jack and Sergio's Dorm - FL2

A standard, if comfortable, dorm room. Two beds, two closets, two desks.

"Okay," Jack replies as he and Sergio finally make it back to their room. Still dressed in lounge pants and a sleeveless black t-shirt with 'Spooky' written in green letters, the invisible teen is in a pretty good mood. He's eager to hear what his roommate has to say though, the conversation delayed until they got there. "So were me and Kaine right?" he asks, closing the door behind them both. "You and Liv?"

A broad grin spreads across Sergio's already warm expression. His chin tilts upward just so, "You /and/ Kaine? I don't remember hearing you chiming in." He laughs, crossing to his side of the room and almost immediately shedding his baseball tee. "Yeah," he confirms, tossing the garment onto his bed and scratching his chin. "What do you think?" The boy's grin remains.

"Oh I was nodding along, you just couldn't see it," Jack jokes. He moves to his side of the room and sits on the edge of his bed, watching Sergio. "What do I think? That Liv asked you out to coffee," he guesses, grinning invisibly as he waits for confirmation.

Sergio laughs more, turning to arch an eyebrow at his roommate without even the faintest blush. "Oh, were you?" He asks, flirtatiously, "/Not what do you think happened./ What do you think of Liv?" Sergio crawls backward to rest against his headboard, scratching his relatively hairless chest.

Jack laughs too, starting to untie his shoes. "Liv's pretty cool," he says eventually. "I mean she gets a little...foot-in-mouth sometimes but don't we all?" he shrugs. "The green hair's awesome and she's got some great powers. What do you think of her, man?"

Leaning forward, Sergio does the same. He loosens his shoes enough to kick them off onto the floor where ever they may land, "She's cool. Way smarter than me, /obviously/. And powerful." He watches Jack out of the corner of his eye cautiously, as if he'd be able to gauge anything from sight alone. "She's not like anybody I've ever gone out with, for sure."

"Well, you did say you never went out with another mutant before," Jack agrees, shedding his shirt as well. "You both seem pretty smart to me," Jack admits. "From what she told me, she does sound pretty powerful. Heck, we were joking around about sneaking down to grow a ton of flowers or fruit when we had all those people at the gates," he says, grinning even if it can't be seen. "Have you gone out with a bunch of girls?"

Sergio shrugs a shoulder, pouting out his bottom lip as he does so. "Not /a lot/," he admits, "Just a few." His pants go next. From his lying down position, he struggles to kick out of his jeans, "I had a girlfriend back home, but it was just one of those stupid things you're supposed to do. Football player, cheerleader." Falling thoughtfully quiet, he curls his legs under somewhat to slide into his covers.

"Yeah," Jack lets out a breath, standing to peel off his pants too. "I remember how that went. Had to have a cheerleader for every player," an unseen eye roll. "Liv definitely doesn't seem like the cheerleader type to me though," which he thinks is a good thing. "I think things will be good for you both. Recommended a place in town to go if you're still looking. Its mutant friendly."

Sergio snorts out a laugh, watching Jack from across the room. "No, she doesn't," he agrees, blushing some as he turns away at the last moment to give his roommate some privacy. Wetting his lips, Sergio twiddles with the hem of his blankets, "Oh, yeah? Where'd you suggest?"

Jack doesn't seem to mind being watched at all, gathering up his clothes and tossing them towards the bag he gathers dirty laundry in. "Coffee Bean. It's right in the town and according to Professor Richter, very mutant friendly," he says. Jack climbs into his bed, humming. "I was thinking of asking Ash," he pauses a beat. "That's...the guy I'm umm...interested in," a pause for an unseen blush. "there sometime too," he adds quickly. "I've been in there once. Great drinks."

Looking back over with slightly widening eyes, Sergio oh's quietly. He inches closer to the edge of his bed, "What's uh, what's he like?" Holding his breath, the teen follows the discarded clothes as they fly over to join the dirty laundry. "He must be pretty cool," he adds, in a very small tone.

"Well...he's a little older than us," Jack replies. "Like his twenties...and he's got...like earth control powers. Like rocks and dirt and stuff. And he's good at it. Works in construction," Jack explains, adjusting his pillows a little. "Smarter than I am but that's not hard to be...and he's nice too."

Sergio's eyebrows prick up somewhat, and he reddens. "Oh, wow," is all he offers, voice raising an octave. He clears his throat and his Adam's apple bobs up and down, "He sounds-" "-cool." He pulls one of his two pillows in front of him, hugging it and resting his chin on it. "When do you think you'll see him again to ask him out?" The teen looks over toward Jack innocently.

Jack blinks a few times, curious about Sergio's reaction. He watches him for a moment before before taking a breath. "Hopefully this weekend. Or next," he replies. He pulls his knees up to his chest, the motion really only given away by how his shorts move. "When are you and Liv going to have your date?"

Sergio blinks, shrugging inwardly, "Friday?" He smiles a little, sinking down onto his back, "At least that's what we said." Rolling onto his side, he faces Jack's bed, bringing a hand up to cover a yawn, "I said I'd talk to her about it next time we ran into eachother or whatever."

Humming, Jack gives an unseen nod. "Awesome," he chimes. "Let me know if ya need anything before you go," he offers. "She was talking about your date on the phone before you showed up tonight. I think she's looking forward to it," he remarks, shifting to lay down.

Sergio suppresses a grin, scoffing in a little laugh, "What would I need before I go?" The grin comes out anyway, and he beams across the room in earnest. He makes to toss his pillow over at Jack, but doesn't actually let go. "Get the light?" He says between quiet laughter.

"I dunno," Jack laughs a little, ready to catch the pillow but letting his arm flop back to the bed when it doesn't fly his way. "Breath mints or something?" he laughs a little more. He uses his TK to give his roommate's shoulder a very gentle pat and then it them to flick the lights off. "Universal remote," Jack snickers a bit.

"Way better than that clap-on, clap-off crap," Sergio muses, snickering along with Jack. The sound of him adjusting his pillow and falling into it with a soft hm can be heard in the darkness. "Goodnight, Jack," he offers fondly, laughter trailing off breathilly.

Similar sounds come from Jack's bed as he gets comfortable. "Sleep well, Sergio," he offers with a muffled yawn. "Night," he adds.
