- In all fairness, I am legitimately curious how Hank could make a determination in the span of two days that something was permanent, even if you OOCly know that it will be. Mutant powers are pretty unknown and individual, and there's not exactly any kind of /test/ they can do to ascertain, yes, this will be here forever. I mean, even in completely everyday normal human things oftentimes doctors can't tell you that with any certainty. It seems vanishingly unlikely that a brand-new aspect of a mutant power is something that someone would be like 'Yep this will definitely be permanent' rather than 'Huh, that's curious, let's wait and see what happens/see if you'll be able to control it/etc.' --Borg (talk) 00:24, 13 December 2013 (EST)
- Heya - this is actually an excellent point. In looking it over again, I realize what I /meant/ to say was that the effect was 'benign' as opposed to permanent. Because I feel like Hank could see over the course of a couple days if it's actually hurting Aloke. But you're absolutely right - measuring for permanence is basically impossible in this time frame. I'll check with Shane and Ghost about retconning some of this. --Laser (talk) 13 December 2013
