Introduction xxxxxJames Brawn (19), is one of the many documented mutants across the US. Born August 7, 2003. He was born with a unique facial deformity that many find eerily similar to our early Neanderthal ancestry. His mutation, of course, was caused by a now commonly recognized by doctors world-wide as the “X” gene. When James was 8, he hit what is commonly referred to as a “ precocious Puberty, allowing him to develop earlier than most boys his age. Yet it was more than that. James started sprouting fur overnight and his features became less and less human-like, and to many, now have a more Ape-like appearance. xxxxxJames Brawn went to Daunting Intermediate from 6th to 8th grade and Brown High-school where his mother, Mary, works as an Administrative Assistant. His father, Phillip, works as a Dentist at Daunting Smile. James lived with his parents until he got legally emancipated at 16, then moved into a small apartment complex close to his former place of employment Lenny’s Stop”. James has no known siblings, an Aunt ( unnamed for privacy reasons), and a Great Grandfather, Leon Bael (84) who resides at Cobblestone Health ( local nursing home). James currently lives in NY City and works at “ Wonder Studios” a live Theater that has been in business for over two years. Description xxxxxJames has Ape-like facial Features that resemble a cross between a Chimpanzee and a Silverback Gorilla, his face, head, neck, and body are all covered in thick black fur. He has large, fang-like teeth, Brown Eyes, tan skin, and Sharp nails that could be considered claws. He currently stands at 6’5 inches and 210lbs. Reputation xxxxxin Jame’s home town of Daunting, Texas, there were varied impressions of him. Many people saw him as strange, and he was a major target of bullying and discrimination for most of his life. People were either afraid of him or saw him as someone easy to pick on. A lot more people became intimidated after a brief altercation that ended his employment at “ Lenny’s Stop”. Some believe this is why he packed up and moved, and have empathy for him, some are glad that his intimidating presence is gone.In New York it is about the same, he has gained many mixed feelings. Many see him as a challenging foe to pick a fight with but others see him as a sort of gentle giant ( this is a popular opinion among women and children and some men that have been out spoken about his character upon first meeting him). Some ( in the world of genetics and academics) recognize his name from Articles and medical journals and at least a few dissertations. Often times mutants that end up well known in small towns become the subject of study for many students considering certain career paths. History xxxxxJames was born and raised in Daunting, Texas. He was born normal and healthy on August 7, 2003, except for a very noticeable facial abnormality that made him resemble what early Human ancestors ( so called “ Neanderthal’s), when he was 8 his development sped up and he went though a peculiar but painless overnight transformation which included fur growth, his face becoming more distinctly “Ape”-like, and a vocal drop. He lived with his parents Mary and Phillip Brawn until he was 16. He then got emancipated and lived on his own in Daunting. At 19, He moved to NY with Billy Shein ( not a mutant), a 20 year old stoner and former Co-worker from his days working at “Lenny’s Stop” in Daunting. They both currently work at “Wonder Studios” as part time stage hands and assistants. Powers xxxxxJames doesn’t have any “ Powers” but his physical mutations allow him to have great Strength, more so than the average human man. He can dead lift about 1,763 lbs at a time and his punch can shatter a skull on impact without holding back. He can run up to 30 miles per hour, and is skilled in jumping, scaling buildings of varied height and due to the grip his claws have, Climb skillfully. Skills xxxxxJames is is skilled in wielding swords and many types of blades and is a master fencer. He was self taught but shared the passion with his Co-worker and respected acquaintance Billy Shein. His strength, of course is a big advantage that increases his skill but he doesn’t consider it the sole reason for excelling. In his own words, “It is easy to excel in something you find extremely interesting or fascinating. When I first discovered it, I felt it would open up a world full of opportunities and I never once doubted that I would find it useful one day”. James also is very skilled in cooking, and this has been confirmed by neighbors, friends, co-workers,and acquaintances.
