Introduction Wanda is a strange little girl. She likes Tori Amos and French films. She has a slight fear of men, except for her brother. It roots back to being accused of witchcraft by a man, by being seen as the "extra" by her father. He wanted a boy. She doesn't know he could have left her behind on the mountain. Her powers terrify her. She doesn't know the extent, doesn't know where they start and end. What is her and what is her power? She's afraid of what she can do, what she could do, what she should do. She loves her brother dearly and when he's around, she gets a bit more nerve in her. She believes sharing a womb with him might have been what gave him his powers. She has a certain arrogance about her, because of her powers. She's calm and quiet, she tries to stay out of people's ways. Wanda wants to keep her name out of everyone's mouth. She's a fragile like a time bomb and she doesn't want to lose anyone the way she did in Sokovia. She lost her parents and nearly her brother as well. She keeps a tight leash on herself, doing things that keep her fingers and mind busy. She knits sweaters. Plays guitar. Wanda is in tune with the earth and loves animals. She believes dreams mean something. She believes the moon is trying to tell her secrets. Description Wanda is tall for a girl. She has auburn hair, sometimes red, sometimes dyed black. She wears big shit-kicking boots and witchy jewelry. She is Eastern European, and her accent is still slightly there. She often pouts, or chews her lips when anxious, and it shows. She looks like the kind of girl that is mean. Reputation Some might know she's pretty stuck up for a poor kid. That she has been on the news for arson and inciting riots. That she's obsessed with Magneto. History Wanda and Pietro were born deep in the mountains. Who even knows what happened to the mother, as the children were found by a group of migrants. They were taken in and brought into Sokovia. Eventually, they were adopted. Their parents maybe neglected them, but that was because they worked a lot. A lot. The twins were left to their own devices often. It usually was Pietro taking care of Wanda. By either making her sandwiches or beating up the boys who made fun of her goth look or when she would say she was hexing them. The twins became very political, with the fight for mutants at the forefront of their everyday actions. They were recently arrested at the scene of a building fire. It was only a few months ago that they came here for Him. They came to New York with a stolen credit card. Try to make it somewhere better. And they found their Messiah. He made them know they were special. He told them they could fight back (maybe not ...directly). He inspired them to take new names. Wanda was now Scarlet Witch. The twins find his Brotherhood and try to take over the joint. Powers Neuro-electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation: She can fire concussive blasts (concrete is the limit), move things with her mind (nothing bigger than a vehicle), and she can see the memories of pain and anxiety (and cause more of it-- either by influencing thoughts and visions or causing physical pain via the brain). That part is tricky, there are limits to it, but she hasn't discovered them yet. She can only access things that are sticking out. Nothing subtle or too secret, too buried. Skills Wanda can play a few guitar chords. She has "neuro-electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation" as well, an ability that came to her during puberty.
