Introduction Despite the rough persona she presents, Morgan’s ability to be "one of the guys" is what allows her to be effective in most situations. She is headstrong at times and wears her emotions (mostly anger) on her sleeve. She is crass, predatory, and impulsive. History Formerly employed by the New York Police Department, Morgan was let go after an undisclosed incident involving an excessive use of force on her part while apprehending a suspect targeting young mutant women. Before that, in her nine years on the job she built up a reputation on the street for abusing her power, taking bribes, and skimming off the top. Most recently after losing her job, she’s cut off most of her friends and broken off a long term engagement to the shock and outrage of her large, Irish Catholic family ...admittedly, most of these people are cops. Powers Morgan can visibly “freeze” a designated object or person mid-action in what would be perceived by them as a temporal nano-second while everything and everyone else continues to move freely. She can "freeze" multiple objects that are touching, but is limited by distance, the mass of the target(s) in question, and how long she can “freeze” for. She also has temporal cognition, which gives her an enhanced understanding of the precise time and timing personally, locally, and objectively. Connections Friends Coming soon. She has underworld contacts, particularly in prostitution as she used to go undercover as a prostitute. Bar Fly - Morgan can drink you under the table. I mean, her last name is DeWar. She sticks to dive bars, mostly. Workout Addict - Prone to high anxiety and aggression, you might recognize Morgan as that scary, intense girl from the gym. She also goes on runs with her adopted, retired police dog. He isn't particularly friendly. Closeted Mutant - Morgan is in the midst of a crisis dealing with her own status as a mutant. She does not go to Mutant friendly places, nor does she make a point of associating with Mutants, obvious or otherwise. However, if anyone is interested in befriending her and finessing the situation, be my guest! $$$ - Morgan is looking for part time office or security work. She’s also in the market for a roommate, preferably someone female who keeps to themselves and doesn’t mind that Morgan has a dog. Drinkers are a plus!
