xxxxxNeena is a bit detached from things around her, or at least often seems to be. She's been around the world, shot people, been shot at and generally in the name of nothing more significant than making some money. Work as a mercenary and you start distancing yourself from things. She's lost friends, lost loved ones, she knows the world isn't the friendliest of places. But, her heart still beats in there somewhere, causing her conscience to flare up occasionally on a job, wondering if she's doing the right thing or not and part of her wants something to fight for besides just making a living. When she does manage to grow close with people, Neena tends to take on a motherly or big sister sort of role, looking after people because more often than not, she's seen a lot more than they have.
Neena's a thrillseeker, to the core, and this is likely in part due to her power. Do something dumb and dangerous? Sure, why not. She'll be fine, probably. And she enjoys testing herself. She's been trained in numerous things since childhood, and every time she succeeds, she's sticking it to the people who deemed her a failure at Project Armageddon.
She is of course an advocate for mutant rights and mutants in general, though she hasn't done much in particular in that vein as of yet, as she has no idea where to begin. It's not like shooting somebody would fix all of that. Or would it?

xxxxxThe product of one of the governments many attempts at making a harder, better, faster, stronger soldier, Neena was born in Florida, in the facility home to Project Armageddon, which attempted to use mutant genetics in its endeavors. The daughter of a woman with precognitive powers, Neena was trained from childhood to be a soldier, spy and assassin. As a teenager, when Domino showed no real signs of a mind-blowing power like laser eyes, fire breath or nuclear finger bombs, she was deemed a failure.
xxxxxAnd this was when her biological mother stepped in, managing to rescue the teenage girl and spirit her away to Chicago, where she was left in the care of a cult known as the Church of the Sacred Heart. She didn't hang around long, and ran away to begin her career as a mercenary, eventually beginning to work with various government agencies, both US and international.
xxxxxDuring one such assignment, she was assigned to bodyguard an analytical genius for a prolonged period of time, she developed a relationship with Dr. Thurman and eventually the two married. It wasn't to last, as only a year into their relationship, there was a raid upon the facility where Dr. Thurman worked, by unknown parties, and Neena failed to protect the man though she survived herself.
xxxxxSince then, Neena, or Domino as she's come to be known in the mercenary world, took up her work again and spent a number of years overseas, working with foreign matters of one sort or another. Just recently, she's decided she needs a break and has returned to the States and New York City, after keeping an eye on the mutant-related news for a while, curious to see if things have gotten better or worse.

Domino's power is entirely unconscious. She doesn't blink and shoot lasers, or point at things and make them disintegrate. Her power is also kind of lame, as far as such things go. She can't pick up cars, or survive a bullet to the head. But, the odds of her ever getting a bullet to the head are pretty, pretty slim. Things just have a habit of going Neena's way. If rocks fall, odds are they're not going to fall on Neena. Though everybody else in the room might be toast. If someone's trying to shoot her, their gun might jam despite being in perfect condition, while her own shot might hit a nearby pipe and blast a faceful of steam into the fellow's face. Chasing her? They might trip over their own feet and faceplant.

Ranging from basic mercenary stuff to international and corporate espionage, political assassinations and everything in between. Need some temporary firepower? Need somebody to dig up some info or follow somebody around? Want that prototype your competition is working on? Need somebody 'taken care of'? Just want some muscle for a meeting? Bodyguard for an evening? Dom might be your girl.

| Mutant - Obviously a mutant, Neena is concerned with mutant rights, but she hasn't the foggiest how to go about helping a matter like that. She's more a point, click, problem solved kind of woman. Might be able to be persuaded to one side or another here.
