xxxxxImmediately obvious when looking at Chloe is the color of her skin, which is the same green as new grass. Two large grasshopper-like wings emerge from her shoulder blades; while usually lying flat against her back, they are transparent and membranous when extended, fading from the same green as her skin to a vibrant pink. Her eyes are just this side of too large for her face and completely black.
Other than these features, she looks fairly normal, with long black hair and a lean but muscular figure with strong legs. Tall for her age and still growing, Chloe is 5'7" barefoot and even taller in the heels she prefers to wear.

xxxxxChloe herself does not have a reputation, but her last name certainly does. The Corlioni fashion empire has been stationed in New York City since it's founding by her great-great-grandfather. Her mother, Nicoletta Corlioni, is the most recent face of the company.

xxxxxThe youngest of a pair of fraternal twins, Chloe was born the fourth daughter to Nicoletta Corlioni and Andrew Grant. She and her twin sister, Diana, were the first biological children the couple had, and a bit of a surprise; their older daughters, Talia and Amanda, were adopted as infants.
The family lived comfortably in a Brooklyn townhouse, their lifestyle funded by the Corlioni family business, a fashion empire founded by Chloe's great-great-grandfather. All four girls went to a prestigious private Catholic school starting in pre-K. Chloe was social and popular throughout her student life, joining student planning committees and student government when able, along with the track and field team.
Unknown to her or anyone around her, the first signs of Chloe's mutation appeared when she was 14. A sudden and painful growth spurt gave her an extra three inches of height in one month, and some doctor visits later, it was concluded she was simply taking after her tall father. Over the next year, other things started to change. Eating meat made her ill, no matter if it was red meat, white meat, or fish. Doctors concluded that Chloe had suddenly developed an allergy.
Once she switched to a vegetarian diet, not only did her health return to normal, but it improved. She started to run faster and jump hurdles higher in practice, even helping win a track and field meet before the city went into lockdown for Covid-19. It was during lockdown that the final stages of Chloe's mutation began to show. Her skin and eyes began to change color, while her back became inflamed and two massive lumps begin to grow under the skin around her shoulder blades. Eventually, the skin of her back would partially molt and her wings would emerge.
When Leo Concepcion saved the city and ended lockdown, Chloe did not return to school with Diana. Her parents were able to convince the school to continue Chloe's virtual learning, without a webcam, while they searched for some kind of solution. That solution ended up being Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Chloe is set to begin after winter break.

xxxxxChloe has light green skin, wide black eyes, and two large grasshopper wings on her back. Her outward mutations also expand to her height, her legs growing longer and the rest of her growing in proportion.
While it can't quite be said that she has superspeed, Chloe can certainly run faster and jump farther than any average human. She has yet to test her limits, but can top out at around 30 mph and has a 8 foot vertical jump. When combined, she has the yet undiscovered ability to use her wings to 'glide' about 50 feet before landing.
Her mutation has also affected her eating habits. No longer able to eat meat without becoming ill, Chloe has switched to a heavily plant-based vegetarian diet.

xxxxxChloe can speak conversational Italian, play early intermediate level piano, and has a nice singing voice. Before her physical mutations appeared, she was starting to learn more about the business side of fashion and still expresses an interest in it, somewhere under all her current predicaments.
