Introduction Despite the rough persona she presents, Morgan’s ability to be "one of the guys" is what allows her to be effective in most situations. She is headstrong at times and wears her emotions (mostly anger) on her sleeve. She is crass, predatory, and impulsive. History Formerly employed by the New York Police Department, Morgan was let go after an undisclosed incident involving an excessive use of force on her part while apprehending a suspect targeting young mutant women. In reality, her latent mutation had been manifesting for some time and she finally cracked under the pressure of it all. Before that, in her nine years on the job she built up a reputation on the street for abusing her power, taking bribes, and skimming off the top. After losing her job, she cut off her family and friends, as well as broke off a long term engagement for fear of what reaction her new mutant status would yield. More recently, an old crime boss that Morgan planted evidence on orchestrated an attack on her. Morgan was outed as a mutant in a very public brawl with his lackeys. It ended with her in the hospital, facing legal repercussions for public use of her abilities among other things. No one from her past came to her hospital bed. Powers Morgan can visibly “freeze” a designated object or person mid-action in what would be perceived by them as a temporal nano-second while everything and everyone else continues to move freely. She can "freeze" multiple objects that are touching, but is limited by distance, the mass of the target(s) in question, and how long she can “freeze” for. She also has temporal cognition, which gives her an enhanced understanding of the precise time and timing personally, locally, and objectively.
