Introduction xxxxxThere's something a little sad about Nox, a melancholy hidden beneath the surface. She's den mother to the Morlocks, confidante, teacher, supporter and sentry, but there's a part she keeps to herself--hidden, ironically, in the shadows of her person. History xxxxxShe has been with The Morlocks for three years now. None of them, even those closest to her, know that she's the daughter of the mayor of Annapolis. No one knows what her name was before she became Nox. Everyone knows her love of musical theater. Powers xxxxxNox has the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness, an ability that comes of having spent a year as a shadow before she figured out how to put herself back together again. Talents include shadow-slipping, you can't see me, sensory deprivation cocoons, shadow shackles and abyssal bitch slap. Weaknesses are to photo sensitivity, losing things when she loses her physical manifestation, and being unable to speak loudly. Connections Underground The Morlocks - Home, heart and hearth. She guards them fiercely. Jill - Flower Knight, walking in the sunlit world. Tatters - Sewer Knight to her chatelaine. Prays hers will be a happy ending rather than the typical heroic tragedy. Victor - Foundling with excellent taste in novels. Aboveground Emma - Mirror, mirror, on the wall... Jim - Admirable manners for a man who doesn't shave. Lucien - He has everything and nothing. The poor man. Matt - Proof that the world has a special hate for the good. Micah - Possibly made of lead and/or granite. Very heavy tread. Murphy - One suspects he has neared or reached his breaking point. A shame. Dangerous Masque - This could be problematic.
