xxxxxGrace is 5'5", with fair skin, mostly straight light brown hair she has recently chopped to just below chin length, and light brown eyes. Her features are a little plain, but she has a notably bright smile and expressive hand gestures. Her clothes tend to be on the looser side, but modest according to LDS standards: boxier T-shirts with longer sleeves, oversized cardigans and sweaters, knee-length skirts or dresses, loose pants with lots of pockets for the wilderness, all in earthy tones.

| History

xxxxxGrace grew up in the suburb of Woods Cross, Utah, the absolute middle of 13 children. A carefree childhood was interrupted when her oldest brother was kicked out of the house; she coped through cheer, unobtrusive service, and an adherence to rules. Her faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and her ability to get close to her peers took extra blows when she found out she could melt glass and didn't love what womanhood seemed to portend.
xxxxxGrace graduated high school in 2019 and started at Utah State, majoring in geology and minoring in English. Delayed her mission call after COVID and decided not to serve after the family learned of her brother's death. The Allreds started talking, slowly; Grace's confusion increased. With her life less settled than many of her peers, she decided to get away and applied to Teach For America, arriving in New York in late June. Grace is now a rookie Earth Science teacher at a charter middle school in Brooklyn.

Includes: quartz, many sands, obsidian, opal, soda-lime glass, sandstone/chert/flint, some ceramics. Excludes: Bakelite, basaltic pumice, CDs, eyeglass plastics, granite, pure silicon. She has to be touching it and it has to be under 1000 pounds.
