Introduction xxxxxIolaus is a jawbreaker of a man, with a silly center and friendly yet serious person at heart. With a 'flexible' moral compass, Iolaus is a righteous and stauch believer of what he thinks is right, even if other people might not agree. A bit of a strange person, all things considered, Iolaus does not conform to social norms of how normal conversations should go. History xxxxxMuch of Iolaus' history is easily found on the website of his employer, the Mendel Clinic. His educational history is intense; he graduated summae cum laude from Tufts University with a double-major in biochemistry and biomedical science, and a minor in ethics. His education then continued to a double-doctoral program at the Tufts Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences and the Tufts School of Medicine, where he respectively received Ph.D in medical genetics and biochemistry, and an MD, both with honors. He underwent his residency and fellowships both at Mount Sinai Hospital, and was hired straight off to work as a consulting specialist on complex cases and genetic diseases. After several years, though, he slowly took his career there part time, and built the groundwork for his own clinic, a primary care clinic for mutants based in New York City. xxxxxThough Iolaus still sees patients (not as many as he'd like), and even gets to occasionally think about sitting down to do some research (usually while in the shower), the bulk of Iolaus' time these days is as a somewhat weary administrator. Raising money, soothing donors, sloughing through paperwork, all under the watchful eye of both security guards and administrative staff, sometimes Iolaus wonders why he even bothered to go to med school.
