Introduction xxxxxHorrible blood-monster. xxxxx(Believed to be deceased!) History xxxxxBefore Prometheus, he was a transient who survived by wandering from town to town -- sniffing out mutants, killing them, and subsisting off the resulting blood until he reached the next city. After Prometheus, he made a home in NYC's sewers, preying on the explosive mutant population (particularly the ones people are less likely to notice when they go missing). He was finally hunted down and (possibly?) slain by Nox and Tatters. Powers xxxxxAn extreme form of hemokinesis. Carnage has the ability to control blood via contact (and weaker control via proximity). But only mutant blood -- and only if it's exposed and oxygenated (he can't control blood in a mutant's veins). He can use this blood to form all manner of weapons (hooks, barbs, claws). He also derives nourishment from mutant blood (needing neither food, sleep, or water when he has sufficient blood). Carnage can also identify mutants by smell (so long as they have blood) -- and once he's tasted a particular strain of mutant blood, he can track it -- by smell -- over several miles. xxxxxRecently, Carnage had been experimenting with a dangerous mutant-enhancing drug called 'VENOM'. This lead to his powers going into overdrive -- while he had less fine-tuned control over his powers, he developed some interesting secondary mutations.
