Introduction xxxxxThere's something a little sad about Nox, a melancholy hidden beneath the surface. She's den mother to the Morlocks, confidante, teacher, supporter and sentry, but there's a part she keeps to herself--hidden, ironically, in the shadows of her person. History xxxxxShe has been with The Morlocks for three years now. None of them, even those closest to her, know that she's the daughter of the mayor of Annapolis. No one knows what her name was before she became Nox. Everyone knows her love of musical theater. Powers xxxxxNox has the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness, an ability that comes of having spent a year as a shadow before she figured out how to put herself back together again. The darker it is, the stronger she is. Her weaknesses are as one would expect. Connections Underground The Morlocks - Home, heart and hearth. She guards them fiercely. Lily - Flower Knight, walking in the sunlit world. Tatters - Sewer Knight to her chatelaine. Too dear to lose. Anole - Foundling with excellent taste in novels. Marrow - Fierce heart, foul mouth. Masque - Perhaps he has come home again. Aboveground Claire - A different sort of Knight, perhaps? Dan - Something is gnawing at him, deep inside. Emma - Mirror, mirror, on the wall... Hive - A poor first impression, perhaps on both sides. Iolaus - Idealistic doom. And yet... Jax - Her sunshine counterpart striving for the same goals. Jim - Admirable manners for a man who doesn't shave. Lucien - Please, God... Matt - Proof that the world has a special hate for the good. Micah - Sweetness, and light that doesn't wound. Morgan - Bless her. Murphy - Such a hell, to not be able to look away from one's demons. Parley - The walking wounded but she expects him to do well. Shane & Sebastian - Their childhood was too brief. Trib - He seems to thrive among blood and cages. Dangerous Kyle - There are few people she would willingly harm. He is one.
