xxxxxThe Lupei twins are probably one of the oddest bunches you could meet, and just by personality, it's hard to tell they are related. Whilst Toma seems like the most civilized, polite person on the planet, Nicoleta is a rude, arrogant, aggressive person prone to attacking people who look at her funny. At least they have each other, right?

xxxxxToma and Nicoleta Lupei were born in Bucharest, Romania, in
1990, to a wealthy businessman named Mircea Lupei, and his wife
Cosmina. Mircea had inherited his father's solar energy
company, called Lupei Solar, and was a multimillionaire, while
Cosmina was his childhood sweetheart. The twins were both born
female, with Toma later realizing that he was transgendered in
his teens. When the twins were two, Mircea and Cosmina
divorced, with Mircea taking Toma, the eldest, while Cosmina
took Nicoleta. Toma was groomed from an early age to inherit
his father's company, being tutored and spoiled, while Cosmina,
having barely any money, lived in a trailer with Nicoleta.
Around age 14, Toma decided that he did not want to inherit the
company, which angered his father greatly. He begun hanging out
with his sister regularly around age 16, who, while living with
their mother, had become a troublemaker, doing drugs and
getting into fights. Toma decided to look out for her, much to
the anger of his father, who had completely disowned Nicoleta
as his daughter at this time. When they reached 18, Toma
refused to work for Lupei Solar, and moved in with his mother,
who had become ill, and his sister, becoming the caretaker of
the home.
Sometime when they were 22, their mother died, hurting them
both emotionally. Toma decided that they should leave Romania,
and, not willing to wait for the time it'd take to get
immigration visas, and instead got travel visas, were able to
get checked out, and left for the US, New York to be precise.
Once they arrived, they looked for cheap housing, finding
Sunset Apartments in Clinton, where they got a small apartment,
and have lived ever since. They are looking for various ways to
earn money without actually having a job, though this is
difficult for them. All they truly want, is to be able to live
peacefully. Well, Toma, at least.

| Powers

xxxxxThe twins were both born with the power of hemokinesis, able to
control their own blood and manipulate in various ways.
Nicoleta is a heavy cutter, which is normally how they get
their blood source, and her mutation gives her a condition
where her body makes more blood than it needs, requiring
shedding to lower excess amounts. The twins are able to
levitate blood, form it into various shapes, and harden it, but
this requires utmost concentration, and causes heavy migraines
when overused. They can both detect how far away the other is
in and in what direction, but not their exact location, by
having physical contact with blood. Toma, who is weaker in his
hemokinesis, has an additional power where, whenever he touches
the blood of a mutant, as long as the other mutant is also
touching the blood, both are slightly empowered by this,
boosting not only their energy, but sometimes their powers.
This however, is very dangerous to him, as it causes excess
bleeding from his nose, and he has less blood than a normal
person due to a condition, Anemia.

| New in Town - Even with living in NYC for about a year, the twins are pretty much new in America. They can often be found at local hotspots, acting like foreign tourists in amazement at how huge the city is.

| Cinema Buff - The twins, Nicoleta especially, love movies, especially old 80s action flicks. Seeing them at movie stores or cinemas wouldn't be too difficult.

| Job Problem - The twins, or atleast Toma, are seeking employment, but have the issue of not being actual US citizens, and as such, must seek more..shady employment of sorts. While Toma definitely has many qualifications in ways, he will take really any job that'll help him and his sister.

| Substance Abuse - Nicoleta uses various types of drugs, ranging from mild to hardcore, and as such, if you sell weed or cocaine or anything, she'll probably buy from you..
