xxxxxFollowing the NYPD robot shooting of a mutant in the Lower East Side, a series of protests swept the city. Several days after the shooting, the burning of a police station during one of the protests saw seven police officers dead and a fresh wave of anti-mutant fervor. With an uptick in hate crimes and evictions, more mutants than ever are seeking shelter in the Brotherhood's network of safehouses -- rapidly running out of space to house them, the Brothers start seeking alternatives.
