The pigment change is permanent, though superficial and thus easily effaced from most materials. His visual range extends into near-infrared and near-ultraviolet, as does his tagging ability, since he can replicate any color known to him. He can even cause a tag to fluoresce, but only for a short time. His control over the patterns created diminishes with distance. For detail work, he must touch the surface, although he does not need to physically trace the design. Tagging very large areas or very fine detail requires more time and concentration on his part.
