Introduction xxxxxAcerbic and rude enough to be a native New Yorker. His accent gives him away, though. History xxxxxBorn in Thailand. Moved to Montreal. College at Cornell. Started his own architecture firm in SoHo after building the politically controversial but architecturally lauded Mendel Clinic. Powers xxxxxHive is a telepath. He's not a very good one, though. You probably don't want him in your head; he lacks finesse and his mental touches range anywhere from abrasive to actively painful in their harshness. Skills xxxxxBS in architecture, MS in civil engineering, and professionally he is pretty damn good at what he does. Outside of work his skillset is kind of lacking. A whooole lot of gaming. Is a pretty capable cook but lazy as hell so mostly just gets takeout now that he has enough money not to think about food-costs. Native Thai speaker, pretty fluent in French, has picked up a generous smattering of languages from the eclectic crew he hangs out with (and often shares a brain with.) Jackson - Obnoxiously cheerful. Would follow into hell. Frequently do. Tastes like passion, and smoke and mirrors. Jim - Utterly useless drinking buddy. Attracts bullets. Tastes like deep roots in deep earth. Kyle - Sick fuck. Would like to scrub that taste clean. Matt - Bright and warm till the end. For all the good it did him. Tasted quiet, but tasted strong. Billy - How has New York not eaten this one alive? Claire - Beacon of clarity. Emma - Owe her a lot. Hanna - Both too much sunshine and too many clouds. Isra - Quiet, but fierce. Jennifer - The worst kind of stupid is the kind convinced it's smart. Lucien - Gentleman bastard. Malthus - Kill on sight. To-do: Send Micah thank-you card. Merit - Wired. Murphy - Giant headache. Peter - Never give this kid caffeine. Violet - Probably could make any city her own. Trivia Sort of has a daughter, Tola, with... Melinda and Jim. Though he didn't father her he was telepathically connected to her father when she was conceived and got very close to her mother through her pregnancy. Trying to explain to people that Tola has two daddies probably doesn't help the common misconception that he and Jim are dating. Has one tattoo. A very small black lotus flower on his thigh; it's not in any particularly titillating place but the paucity of people he disrobes around means it's rarely ever seen anyway. Keeps a fairly predictable workday schedule. Hangs out at Montagues for his morning coffee, stays there working on his laptop ~2 hours, heads in to his office around ten, works there till mid-afternoon, heads to Evolve to finish working over lots of coffee there until generally whenever Micah gets off work. When he's in good enough health for it, enjoys camping and fishing and rock climbing and pick-up basketball with his roommates. Hasn't been in good enough health for it for a while, due to the growing tumor nestled in his brain together with a malfunctioning Promethean brainchip. Spends probably Too Much Time engaged in cutthroat space capitalism in EVE Online. Cuts many throats. Also spends too much time playing Ingress, though at least that gets him out of the house. Is a die-hard member of the NYC Resistance.
